To our parents of special needs children:

Hunt Club Farm’s Summer Farm Camp Program aims to be an inclusive learning experience. However, camp staff members are not trained to respond to behavioral or emotional emergencies that can arise with special needs children, such as Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Conduct Disorder, etc.

If you have questions about your potential camper’s needs, please call the office at (757) 427-9520 to speak to the Camp Director or Farm Owner.  We are happy to discuss the individual needs of your child and Hunt Club Farm’s ability to accommodate your child’s specific needs in the farm’s summer camp program.

Thank you for considering Hunt Club Farm’s Summer Farm Camp as a summer camp option.

Counselors in Training Volunteer Program:

Although it may be sad to watch your campers grow up, Hunt Club Farm has a unique opportunity for Summer Farm Campers when they “age-out” of summer farm camp.

They can volunteer for our Counselors in Training program!

Designed for teens ages 13 to 15 years old, our Counselors in Training program teaches teens the responsibility of showing up for work each day and the importance of a job well done.

To participate in the program, volunteer Counselors in Training must dedicate a minimum of two weeks of service, although five weeks or more of service is preferred.

For more information and a Volunteer Application, please email us at education@huntclubfarm.com.
